Hey everybody i have a 90 integra ls and i was wonder what is involved in swapping a gsr (b18c) engine into my car, and also how hard is it to run the three wires for v-tec and 1 for 2nd o2 sensor.

 

your going to have to backdate OBD1---->OBD0 since thats what your car is OBD 0. Other than that its pretty much straight drop in.

 

how do i backdate to obd1, i'm not sure i understand.

 

u should just have a professional install and make sure its the full swap cuz some places will screw u over on parts u are missing with the cost

 

i am a 3rd year mechanic apprentice so i was thinking that i could do it myself no problem. I just wanna know more or less about the wiring aspect of the swap.

does anybody know if the stock b18a harness will plug into a p30 computer, and are all the wires in the correct order. I have read that Engine swap guide listed above but i just wanna make sure that i am certain of every step to doing this gsr swap.

 

The OBD-0 '90 harness won't plug into a P30.

 

what ecu is best to use then p72???
