I just bought a 90-93 integra rs motor & tranny for $350.00. Is that a good price? My question is, is this motor worth building? Is this the 1.8 liter motor?
Can I put a vtec head on it? If yes, which one? Can I get good power out of this motor?

 

Sounds like a good price to me assuming it is complete. Every other question you have can be answered through the search function. Search topics like ls-vtec and engine rebuilding and I guarantee you will find everything you need.

my friend has a type-r and he blew the motor then he bought a type-r block and got a civic si head then turboed and built the block and bored it out. he said the si head was better but look for a gsr head of the gen it should fit. oh and y its very costly to do rs/vtec shoud just rebuild it lower comp and turbo it, my 2 cents thou
