the rod bolts on the stock rods are a weakpoint if you plan to rev that high. at the least, have the rotating assembly balanced and get new rod bolts.

i was planning on getting a chiped computer made for my jrsc setup by sales@racingchips.com i found them on ebay are they any good? he said they can raise the revlimit set vtec point up 11psi on stock map full throtlle launch nos control advance timming all for about $300 with jumper harnesshttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7969675580&catego ry=33596 should i do this?

you're better off going with hondata. something actually tuneable.

I agree.

Also if you raise the rev limit, you should balance the rotating assembly and replace rod bolts like snoopy said but you should also look into a girdle like the GSR has to keep the rotating assembly still under those higher revs. Unless you do those things, expect to blow that motor up very soon.

when it comes to major stuff dont be a cheapo buy a hondata,ebay stuff sucks,also pickup a manual for your car, its says i think for my 91 ls to run a wire on the ecu cant remeber where and a led will flash on the ecu (light is above check engine light on gen2 gsr) and the manual has the trouble codes or have a shop check it out if u not sure what to do
