Integra Door Lock Problems
So get this. All of a sudden, my drivers door wont lock or unlock. Which, well, it's okay because at least I can open and close my door; but I can't lock it.
It's not my alarm mechanism, I checked that. There's 3 (I think) linkages. One goes from the handle and is then screwed together (tightly) to another linkage which goes down to the door itself and one goes to the motor.
Well, even using the key, the linkage that goes to the LOCK to turn it to make it lock or unlock, binds up and can't turn. I took it off and looked at it, sprayed WD40 in the lock and everything and it just wont turn.
It's almost like the lock siezed up.
So, before I go take it to Acura and pay out my ass for a new one, what else should I try?
Any help is appreciated.

Do what I do whenever i have a problem.
Go to acura.
Ask em to diagnose it.
They'll tell u what needs to be done.
And then if its simple enough that you could do it, just be like "well thanks for your time, i'll get the door lock part piece I need now and go." Then u can install it yourself and save a pretty penny.
Its not like they wont sell u the part after they tell u whats wrong.
thats my 2 cents.... i get a professional to check it out, and once i know whats wrong, i go and fix it myself. U just gotta know how to talk to em so that they think that you'll be paying for labor, until the last second where u ask for the part.

Something similar (I think) happened to me. I put the key in the lock to unlock it, turned it, and my key got stuck in the turned position. I had to take the door apart and knock the key out from the inside. That sucked. I ended up getting remote keyless entry, and I haven't had any problems since. It sounds like you already have keyless entry, in which case my solution will not work for you. But I think there is somethin funky about the Integra door locks.
