If I converted my AT to a MT, I would have to take it to a shop for the work to be done right. What I was wondering is if any one knew of a place that would trade trannys. That would cut back my cost a little. I just need a idea of a place out there that does that. Also I live in Sac Califorina but the place does'nt have to be there I just want some ideas.

 

Somone may give you a 'core' charge if you let them have the outgoing tranny. You will just have to call around to some shops and see what they say. You may be able to find a tranny in the classifieds on HAN, sometimes there are other parts you need there. Do what my friend did, find a place that does JDM swaps, usually they get entire front clips shipped in with their motors. They may have the clutch pedal assy, clutch master and slave cylinders and other misc stuff. You're going to have to do some legwork to find the right shop to do the swap for you.
