Any chance a 99 Civic SI Cat will fit a 98 GSR?

The cat on my GSR has gone bad. Car is stock. Cel keeps throwing a 67. Took it to the shop and it is the Cat itself. Not the sensors.

I have access to a free 99 Civic SI Cat. Any chance this would bolt on?

I'm thinking..... no. But just wanted to check.

I'sure you have a muffler shop cut the flanges off of your crappy cat and weld them on the si cat if it doesn;t fit. It won't hurt to try, I would try, cats are $$$

 

it turns out this cat only has one 02 bung. The GSR takes two. Might just buy a high flow cat
