Gsr - Ls
If i am unable to find a GSR within the next month or two, i will settle for the LS.
Im wandering what 1/4 mile time im looking at with
locash racing chip
DC 4-1 headers
high-flow cat
cat back: generic (midas?)
on a full interior 94-98 integra LS.
is mid 15's a good estimate?
im looking to put the car into mid 14's and then quit building it.
would a jacksons racing supercharger put it in the 14's? im not looking to push anything past a 14 in the 1/4 because if its any faster im looking at alot of tickets.
id eventually like to try to get the car in SOLO/autocross or road racing type events.
for right now im just looking to have fun on the curvey country road i drive through everyday to get to town.

Id look for a nice GSR if I was you, i was going to settle for a LS or GS, but im glad i stuck to the GSR. I love my baby, at 5-6k you'll be glad you have that vtec.

Now i dont know what the true GSR 1/4 time is. But there is another guy here who told me he ran a 14.9 on his with interior removed...just rear and passenger seats, and minor mods like CAI, and exhaust.

Hey honura, thanks for the feedback man, really apreciate your 2 cents on that. im speaking from personal experience on the subject of speed and power addiction, i dont recall asking anything about a turbo, nor do i recall asking for your opinion on the psychology behind my logic. there are more reasons than just self control, im not looking to spend that much on a car i dont plan on owning for much more than 5 years or so. the reason i ask about the JR supercharger is that it is fairly cheap, and for the amount of power i want it is just right. im pretty sure my original post clarified that THIS ISNT A DRAG BUILD.
yeah im kinda debating on the GSR, but my cars on auto-trader so i dont now how much longer i have to find one, its just that like shmoo said that if i can find an LS closer cheaper and in better condition.... it might tip the scale of choice...

I have a 97 ls, and so far despite the fact that I have to do some minor repairs already, its a fun car, decently quick stock and handles well. I would recommend some minor mods for some boosted power, could break 15's easily enough. And for that extra kick that was so kindly added, you could just buy a gsr head and install it on your ls, to have a lower compression, ls/vtec ;p That might break you into 14's itself, and if not, that gsr head with compression and a charger, would kick ya back hard enough for your needs ;p

well everythings relative, of course a 14 sec car wont do well against a circuit of 13 sec cars, but it will hold its own against other cars in it's class
if a bunch of Stock ITR owners raced, it would be only driver's wouldn't it?
