Default replaced missing CEL bulb, checked codes

Ok, so I finally pulled out my gauge cluster to see what was up with the check engine light because it had never come on. Ever. Sure enough, the bulb was missing! The guy I bought the car from was really sneaky. Anyway, so I got a replacement bulb, jumped the wires and checked for the codes. As long as I did it right, I believe I got codes:

1 - Defective or Unplugged 02 Sensor

10 - Defective or Unplugged IAT (Intake Air Temp) Sensor

41 - Primary 02 Sensor heater circuit malfunction

So where should I go from here? I mean, I already knew the IAT sensor was messed up because the black piece that it hooks into on top of the manifold is broken, so it never clicked all the way into place. But what does the sensor not being hooked up actually mean as far as how the car runs? Is this something that urgently needs to be replaced? And what about the O2 sensor and the related heater circuit malfunction? What should I do? Thanks in advance for any help with this stuff.

I am probably going to replace my 02 sensor this weekend, but which one do I need to get. I know I only need one since I am Obd1, but I mean can I just get a bosch universal, or do I have to get OEM or what?

You would have to wire up a Bosch universal o2 sensor by reusing your stock harness. (Unless something has changed without my knowledge) NGK/NTK O2 sensors come with the correct harness I believe. Both Bosh and NGK make quality parts, it's up to you. Fix the primary and IAT sensors and you should be good to go.

You can also get a used OEM sensor from www.sohfast.com. The one I got from them a few years ago is still working great.

Go OEM, the bosch and other aftermarket O2's are not calibrated like the OEM replacements.
The O2 could just be unplugged. It's very possible since the circuit heater code and the O2 code could come on if you leave it unplugged.

Ok thanks, I will check it out this weekend. Could this be a big reason why I am getting such poor gas mileage? Like 21-23 mpg with easy driving...

Bad O2 sensors can cause poor gas mileage for sure.
