Default 1993 Teg RS 5 speed - White

I just bought this car bone stock from a nurse in the DFW area.

Excellent condition.

I want power!!!! without installing a turbo...

Where should I start first?

Give me a step by step.

My goal is gain 200+ horsepower at the wheels before any turbo mod.
And i want to do this without NoS.

If you want an NA 200whp setup you're going to have to replace every single thing in that motor.

What's your budget?

200 whp without forced induction would take alot of cash to accomplish.

thats like a fully built n/a setup, non-vtec, that would be sweet.

Money for the Teg isnt going to be much of an issue.
Considering that I'm about to drop 1500.00 alone in a new paint job.

But where should I start with an all motor 200 HP + mods?
I want to keep the same block. I remember seeing an issue where this guy had a 12 sec all motor Teg. There was no forced induction at all.
I think it was in Import Tuner.

You are going to have to think about an LS/VTEC conversion along with a complete engine rebuild with performance parts.

Why don't you want to go turbo? It will give you about the power you need for much less work and money.

And the guy with the 12 second all motor probably dumped almost 10 times what the car is worth into the motor and was probably running a much better motor than the one you currently have.

Werd, if you're going to dump $1,500 into a paint job, why not just double that and install a turbo and boost the internals some? Makes more sense to me.

It's the fact of saying I have a non - VTEC 1993 Teg with 200 HP at the wheels. Then I might consider forced induction.

It would be a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to get than 200 whp with forced induction...especially with the lower compression motor you have been blessed with.
