I need a new exhaust system for my 97 GSR. Any suggestions or advice on brands and types.(less noise more power)

 

what are your goals? N/A, turbo? etc. you can't just put on a exhaust when you don't know your goals are, then it would be useless.

 

my goals for the new exhaust would be for the maximum flow of exhaust and maximum power. I may add a air intake soon. I have a new DC header so the stock exhaust can't keep up with the flow. Maby later i may add a turbo but thats not for a while.

 

most off the shelf exhausts are practically the same. get whatever you can afford, looks nice to you, sounds good to you. you wont see a huge gain from an exhaust.

 

If you dont want a loud exhaust you should look at a Type R exhaust or the Apexi WS.
