From looking at the design it appears that maybe this manifold is for midrange power. It's possible that Skunk2 is trying to attract more sales from B18b owners. I know that what kept me from buying the original skunk2 manifold was that the design was geared more for top end. Something the LS doesn't have much of with that choked off intake port.
Or maybe I'm just blind and runners are shorter.
