Default New springs, what compression level?

I am replacing stock springs on my 94 LS, with Neuspeed Sports. Do I just compress the springs enough so the lower plate of the strut fits all the way down, or is there a certain distance or compression I need to use for a proper job.

just do it enough that they arent forced up against the uhhh... strut mounts h:

so yeah compress em down quite a bit, you dont worry about over compressing but undercompressing them can turn that strut mount to a projectile hnoes:

Default Thanks,

Thanks Guys. And yes, I'm not compressing with my hands, I'm using a spring compressor although it's a bitch to work with. wish me luck.
