what does this little black button do ?

is this something that came stock ? or did the previous owner put it there ?

btw, its a 98 gs coupe

Non OEM switch... is there an aftermarket alarm? It might be a valet switch?

i bought the car from the dealer used and received the OEM security system remote, not aftermarket....hmmm maybe ill take out the dash and see where that button goes

Maybe a reset switch of some sort? It does not look like the kind if switch that stays on. It look like one you would hold in or press in and let out. Push it and see what happens...
