Default Drag Racing Traction ????'s

I have a 93 GS teg that has been completely gutted for the strip. The motor is a stock b18a1 with intake and header (open exhaust). The car has not been weighed yet but it has to be near 2000 lbs. We have a 75 shot ZEX kit on the car now ( I know Zex is not the best but a friend let us use it for free, can't beat it on that aspect!) We had a best ET of 8.27 @ 84 mph in the 1/8th.

We have a set of 20x8x14 M/T on the stock GS wheels. On the nitrous we are having traction problems. Best 60' on the motor is 1.81 and on the Nitrous is 1.86. We have let the tires down as far as 8.5lbs still with traction problems.

Any suggestions on Suspension changes? Everything that I have found is for the 94-up tegs.

Any help would be great!

I'd start with some poly motor mounts and some drag springs comboed with good shocks.

Get a set of OPM Motorsports radius rod bearings. They'll help your stock radius rods more effectively control caster changes when a lot of torque is exerted on the front suspension.

question i saw a thing-a-ma-bober that is a traction bar for front wheel drive i think and i was wondering if that would help any and also medium setup in the front and a raised back on some very stiff setup and take all of the weight off of the back of the car as much as possible and that is about all i can think of unless you want some weight in front of the tires so that is gives better traction

Get some Z10 traction bars, they will help you a lot, and as mentioned earlier an LSD unit.

Z10's  Some good motor mounts will help too. Just dont forget to soak em in lubricant the night before you intsall em or they're gonna squeak like a mofo. The lsd would be last on my list since its so damn expensive. Maybe you should hold off on the juice a little until you get going some more. Experiment until you get your best 1/8 or 1/4.

G2 tegs, G4 Civics and assorted Accords and Preludes all have radius rods. Problem is with age the rubber bushings they're mounted on get all mushy and loose effectiveness. Still better than no rods at all like on the G3 teg and G5, G6 civics.

Just to reiterate my point from above:
