Default Modify The OEM GSR Intake Manifold?

I don't like my GSR intake manifolds secondaries, i want it to act like a type r manifold. I dont want to dish out $200 for skunk2, can i just remove that MIDDLE part of the GSR intake manifold? What can i do to mod the stock manifold?

It would be more worth your time and money to just shell out the $200 for the Skunk 2 Manifold. Try searching next time but here is a thread about that: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...ht=Butterflies

i don't understand why people don't like the GSR intake manifold. it gives the motor a relatively flat torque curve.

Obviously people are going for all out max rpm power...don't care about low/midrange at all.

If you're going turbo this summer, I suggest the JG Edelbrock Victor X, works alot better with turbo applications rather than N/A

I agree. The large plenum of the JG manifold is great for boost...it makes good power.
