Default b18a1--budget hoopdie

What's up everyone?

I'm new here so bare with me. I just bought a 1991 Integra GS with a b18a1. The body for the most part is good and the engine and trany feel solid. For $500 I couldnt say no. My question is, is this engine worth moding? I don't plan to go crazy, but I didn't know if it is worth it at all. I'm working on a budget so I doing the best I can with what I have.

Thanks,

depends on what you're modding it for. NA? turbo? with that many miles, a tune up is in order. from their you can decide if you want to rebuild.

Lotta miles, get a mechanic to check it out. Might want to consider a rebuild...Nice motor, pretty strong!

Default at work---customers wont leave me alone

I am not sure, but I assume the timing belts been changed--I have 2 unique receipts from mechanics that I cant read. The car runs and shifts great
