do you have the factory book? I forget what it is its like
top compression is .0015-.0018 or something like that
bottom compression is .0015-.0018 or something like that
and the oil control ring is a bit different i don't remember. Dont use my specs, im just guessing from my memory. You need the factory book, go to the dealer if you dont have it and make a photo copy of the page. You need feeler gauges to measure it, but make absolutely sure the gap is within spec and the rings are spaced according to the book! This is crucial!

You will have to gap the rings yourself.

It depends on the manufacturer of the rings but for an LS using OEM rings, the gaps should be as follows according to the service manual:
Top ring: .20-.30 mm
Second ring: .40-.55 mm
Oil Rings: .20-.45 mm
Even if they aren't OEM rings, that would probably be a good guideline to follow. Some engine rebuilders like their rings gapped to the smaller side of spec to obtain good static leakdown numbers. It is all up to you.

It Would Be Wonderful If Everyone Would Stop Experimenting With The Rules Of Capitalization. n using lettrs n #s 2 say it fastr only makes evry 1 confused. so too is punctuation because otherwise its n e 1s guess as 2 WTF u r talking about
