Turbo ruining my paint
I know it sounds weird but the paint on the hood right above the turbo manifold is starting to turn a brownish color from the heat generated by the manifold. I was wondering what would be the best solution to prevent the damage from getting worse.
Could I put some heat wrap on the underside of the hood to prevent the heat transfer? Or could I wrap the manifold in heatwrap? What is the best solution.

I would want the manifold to be able to 'breath' as much as possible so I wouldn't wrap it as that wouldn't allow heat to escape. I would look at getting some type of thin insulation and putting that on the hood, hey even tin foil might work....if not though Home Depot has some stuff you could use.

Did the head bust off the bolt when you were tightening it? If so then a piece of the bolt should be sticking out. Put some heavy duty pressure on some vice grips and pull the rest of the bolt out. If you already went that route and the bolt broke again, you may be able to drill it out and put a "heli-coil" in there, but not sure if you could. Those exhaust bolts are a major PITA! A bit of advice is to buy some bolt extractors! Mine are made by IRWIN (maker of vice grip) and I swear by them now, wouldn't try and remove a tough bolt without them!

You could do an insulation with reflective surface on the underside of the hood as someone else mentioned. If you used heat wrap, you could use some double sided tape maybe?
