Default Valve Spring Compressor

Anybody know the best spring compressor to use on pretty much any DOHC engine? I've heard Snap-On mentioned several times but not sure which one? Anybody ever changed their valve springs/seals? Just looking for pointers....

The compressor from snap-on is tool number CF711. Then you need to get the attachment 07757-PJ1010A and the extension 07MAF-PR9010A. That is assuming the head is off and that is what the service manual says to use.

If the head is still on the car, the snap-on tool number is YA8845 with a YA8845-2A 7/8" attachment.

I don't know which method is cheaper but they are probably both very expensive tools.

autozone has an OHC valve spring compressor for $10 and it works on and off the head. Just use that.

You don't know the part number do you? I got one from them for about $24 and it is too bulky to fit inbetween the spring and where the cam lobe would be...
