Default whats the difference between 90-93 integra

So I drove 1000 miles to pick up a "92" integra parts car, turns out its a 91, my computer at work (wrecking yard) says all the parts are 90-91 and 92-93 only. Every fawkin thing, engine, tranny , axles. Why is this? It looks exactly the same as my 92. My brother said maybe the 91 is obd-0 and my 92 is obd-1 Sound right? Even so couldnt I change wiring on the old 91 engine and put it in my 92 or are the mounts different? Please have some good news so I didnt waste a long weekend driving a big ass truck and trailer for 20+ hours to get this car for nothing. Any help is fine.

Pardon me for asking, but I need some background info:

1) What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Motor swap, transmission swap? Auto to Manual conversion?

2) Lemme see if I have this right:
Your target car is a '92, but this parts car is a '91.

a lot of the parts ARE compatible but there are some differences, what are you trying to accomplish here, if you tell us that, we'll be able to tell you what type of problems you are going to run into if any.

I am doing a manual to auto swap for the wife but I was hoping to have a spare engine for the car as well. The 91 runs and drives fine but the right side is caved in very badly. So will this tranny bolt into my 92? And yes I am taking the wiring harness and ecm out of the 91 if this will work.

the tranny will bolt right up to your 92. 90-91 are OBD0 and 92-93 are OBD1 your brother was right. everything for the tranny swap should bolt right up to the 92

I believe that you will just have to swap passenger side mount & possibly the rear mount bracket. You will definatly need to use the engine harness from the automatic because of the extra wires (needed for tranny), & the ECU will definatly be needed so that it will kno when to shift on it's own. Other than that u'll need your shift linkage. You shouldn't have any problems with the OBD stuff being that your not swaping the engine or anything. good luck & don't forget your grounds!
