strut bars aren't going to help you out at all.

wheel hop is caused by a combination of engine movement and loss of traction.

the weak rubber motor mounts allow for the motor to rock back and forth. this in conjunction with the loss of traction will cause the wheels to "hop".

you can remedy this with polyurethane motor mount inserts and/or Z10 traction bars.

A side effect of stiff polyurethane motor mounts would be that engine vibrations are transferred to the cabin rather than being absorbed by the mounts. This may or may not be annoying to the driver.

I've seen a new brand of traction bars made by Lakewood in a Summit racing magazine. It looks to be a cheaper alternative to the Z10. I would imagine that the Z10 performs better though, I haven't seen any reviews on either brands.

Check out Jimfab traction bars as well...I hear they are better than the Z10...and I've met the guy and sorta know him a little bit, so I'm biased...seen him make a pair.
