eh...i custom added a sawed pipe from my old intake (still in good condition) and shoved it in the rubber stock pipe to get a longer extention to the box......and put another cone filter on there that wouldnt fit inside the stock box.....i loved the sound, but afterawhile, im getting bad stories about aftermarket parts...like engine oil will turn blacker faster, kills more gas, feels not as strong on the first push (dont know about that, but feels like its true), basically it will kill your engine faster...so its nothing but the sound that is good....so i threw back my stock one on there along with closing that filter box.....

but now im wondering where i can get that filter like the purple one above? i wanted a blue one, looks nice

Just run a google search on "K&N E2427 air filter". The filter runs a good $60-$70 depending on where you buy it from.

Yes it will make a difference performance wise, but not much. You would have to mate that filter with an unrestrictive air tube. Apexi and K&N make some of the best air filters on the market IMO. With either of these filters you would get better flow and better filtering, hence better performance.

-Though it wont flow better than a foam filter it will have better filtering capabilities.
