only in not America....does the inside of your friends car look like yours, the usdm integra type r is asteticlay the same as yours.

edit: if it's on top of your master cylinder you've done something way wrong....if its on top of your abs unit than you don't have it stuck in far enough, that intake in the picture looks like it should fit the car, I would play with the connector and see if you can't get it on further, and if all else fails have your friend help you

I'm not completely sure, I haven't gone in it or anything, I've just seen the outside.

thats why i said ACURA :fawk: i think he means that its resting on the ABS unit

Just from the looks of the intake, it doesn't look like the curve coming out of the intake manifold side is sharp enough. That is probably why it is resting on the ABS modulator. I would just save yourself the hassle and buy a filter on a stick that you know will fit your car. The gains will be almost identical but without the headache of trying to figure out how the hell it will fit in your engine bay.

i agree completely
just make sure its a high quality filter, the tube really doesn't matter much

My .02 cents:
.01 Throw that intake away as far as you can or sell it on ebay for 1 doller.
.01 Get your self a drop in air filter w/ a brand name like k&n and call it a day
