Reverse Not Working
Hey All,
I have an 89 Teg that's my daily driver and I'm having trouble with reverse on my transmission. When it gets super cold outside or the car has been driven for a while, the reverse gear will not engage when I put the car in R. When the car does go into reverse it works fine without trouble. Which makes me think it's something electrical. Is there a relay for electronic stuff in the tranny, or could it be like a contact point or switch in the shifter that is bad? If it's something that is cheap enough to fix I'll fix it and make the beater run for a while longer. If it's going to be too expensive, then I think it's time for a new TL. Any help ya'll could give would be great.
