Default Automatic shift selinoid problem on 92

When it's 10 degrees out the selinoid doesn't work until the car warms up, what's up with that?

yeah I've had this problem off and on throughout this winter. During one week where it was constantly below 40 degrees I would sit in my car for 20 mins+ yanking at my shifter to get it out of park. Then after about 2 months of having to sit there and yank on my shifter it started to clear up. Now that it is warming up I get no problem at all and it shifts out park with ease. Very wierd and also a big pain. (made me late to work once cause i was sitting in my car screaming at it to get out of park)
