Default growling and bucking....

Hey everybody. Lately my '94 GSR has been driving funny. At low speeds(like in 1st or 2nd gear in a parking lot or something), I can hear a growling noise coming from the transmission. Also, a lot of times the car will kind of "buck" when I am speeding up or slowing down. Should these things be of great concern? Should I be looking at a new transmission somewhere soon down the line? I just had the tranny fluid replaced with Honda MTF but I still haven't noticed any real change. I don't really have any issues with grinding gears or difficulty getting it into gear for a car with 120k miles. Any info would really help. Thanks.

It usually happens when I am letting off the gas or I am slowing down to come to a stop. Could this have anything to do with the fact that I have an ACT clutch with a stiff clutch pedal? It doesn't take much pedal travel for the clutch to engage/disengage.
