Default 87 Integra alternator

Hello,
I have to replace the alternator on my 1987 Integra. Do you think this is something a medium skilled driveway mechanic can do? I have basic tools and a couple of jackstands. I've replaced alts. on other cars but it looks pretty tight in there.
Thanks.

You gotta hit it from underneath after loosening everything up top. I did it 3 times on my 89 before I got rid of it. It's not hard, just look at what you have to do. I think the largest socket you would use will be 12mm. Just be sure to disconnect the battery so you don't arch out. Good luck.

It's 11 degrees out, I was hoping someone would say it's impossible!

you'll have to take the axle out and the oil filter off...
