Greddy vs. DC Header
Ok, I've done some searching, but I just want to clarify. From what I've read, the general consensus is that DC is a superior header to Greddy as far as HP gains. I want to get a 4-2-1 header to replace my factory A-pipe that is buzzing. I'm not concerned about HP gains, I just want the buzz gone. My question is...are ALL Greddy headers stainless? The 4-2-1 DC ceramic and Greddy 4-2-1 stainless are priced about the same. I found the Greddy for $284. Why would Greddy stainless be as cheap as a DC ceramic? Since I'm not interested in HP gains, I think the Greddy is a no-brainer since it's stainless and will last longer. Is there a catch? I just found it odd that the DC stainless were like double the ceramic, whereas the Greddy stainless was the same as DC ceramic. Thanks.
they are both great header(s), i've got the greddy SS, DC is just the top of the line. both header have had no re-accuring problem that i've heard of, just get the greddy, the hp gains are too minimal for the price you pay for the difference. + it's SS.
DC headers and GReddy headers are actually in about the same class. The only DC header that's truely superior for bolt-up applications is their rip of the JDM ITR header. Otherwise, I'd go with the cheapest stainless steel one you could get.
If you want the best CARB legal header, get a Comptech.
