Geez guys, I don't know how many times I have to say- I am NOT looking for CHEAP PARTS, just little things that can help out my car a bit, I don't want cheap parts, so far nothing on my car was cheap and I am keeping it like that.
...anyways, what kind of power improvements could I get from a new set of cams? Does anyone have a recomendation of some I could look into?

Agreed BUT since aparently nobody has much suggestions for cheap mods, I might as well see what's best to put my money into.
Anyone have suggestions for cams or header? Brands...

Cheap mods:
9005 conversion (makes night driving 100x better)
Copper spark plugs
Advance your timing 2-3 degrees
LT's suggestion for the trunk tie bar

Cheaper mods:
Comptech Rear tie/sway bar
High flow cat
Comptech, DC, or GReddy header (4-1 if you play more in the high end, 4-2-1 if you're more of a street driver)
Skunk2 intake manifold
Catback exhaust

Expensive but good mods:
Tein SS (street) or Omnipower (more street/track) coilovers
Cams (ITR or Skunk2 stage 1)
Air/fuel management

If you are looking for cheap mods to do to your car you can try this route if you can live without these parts to your car.

Remove rear wiper from hatch and sell on eBay.
Remove Power Steering and all the components and sell it on eBay.
Remove A/C and all of the components and sell it on eBay.
Remove Cruise Control and all of the components and sell it on eBay.
Sell your stock airbox on eBay (if you still have it).
Remove stock crank pulley and sell on eBay.

Purchase plug to fill hole in rear hatch window.
Purchase power steering breather kit.
Purchase CTR N1 crank pulley.
Purchase Civic DX heater vent to replace A/C Evaporator in car.

Once you have done this your car will be a) lighter and b) the power that was used to run the PS & AC is now being diverted to the wheels. Not to mention that the influx of cash you get from selling your parts on eBay can go to fund some other mods such as a H/C/E, suspension upgrades or cosmetic upgrades.

I have done all of the above to my GSR and if you can live without those things I strongly reccomend it. There are also a lot of other mods, mostly cosmetic, that I have done too and selling the stock parts on eBay fuels the next round of modifications and selling those stock parts fuels the next and so on.

Let me know if you have questions.

 Copper spark plugs are cheap and a Comptech sway bar is cheaper.
