question about internals for my ls
I did a search but couldn't find what I need. I plan on going with either a sc or a turbo. I want to build up my engine before I do it. What aftermarket internals should I get? Also, where are a good place to get them? I'm getting an ACT clutch soon so I have that part of it covered. I'm just wondering about the engine part of it right now. thanks
Forged rods - I prefer eagle...cheap price, but great rods
Forged pistons - choose what compression ratio you want
Balanced/micropolished crankshaft
If you want to run lots and lots of boost, send your block out to Golden Eagle and get it resleeved.

How much boost do you plan on running?

Normally I'm just going to be driving to work and home. Probably a lower boost like 6lbs or maybe 8lbs. I want to get stuff that will take more boost if I go to the track though.

Tuning is the key....

Ok suppose I wanna run anywhere from 8 to 12 psi. What would I need to do. I want to put at least 240 to the ground(but anything better wouldn't hurt my feelings). I'm thinking 10 would be enough. What kind of buildup are we talking? I have a 98 Ls
Stock internals.....you'll need fuel and ignition upgrades, and dyno tuning.
