What makes a VTEC a VTEC ?
Hey all, I ve got another nOOb question. Whats makes a VTEC a VTEC ? Say if i wanted to take my B18a (non Vtec) And Make it Vtec, to an extent. Can someone explain what VTEC Does and how it works and possibly the parts that are differnt from a non-VTEC. thanks

www.howstuffworks.com is your best source. You can also research the LS/VTEC conversion covered on this forum many many times. That should give you a good idea of the principles and what you need to do to make it happen.
