Default GReddy SS 4-2-1 (1 Piece) Header Question.

Will it bolt up properly to the stock stuff or will I need to have the muffler shop custom weld something to make it fit properly (or use that mesh stuff, forgot what it's called).

I know, I'm retarded. But help me anyway =].

I hope it all bolts up properly...

Yes I Know I should get a high flow cat, and I will... but its something I need to know first =].

That's the exact same header that I have. It's a good header, and it does bolt directly up to everything else.

My only word of caution before you buy, is that you might get a headache when you try to get them smogged. The reason being, is that the greddy headers don't have the CARB E.O number stamped onto them. To substitute that stamp, you will need to get a piece of paper from an authorized Greddy retailer(Bozz Performance is the only one in the Bay Area). Which is what I had to do. And even after that, when I took the paper to get my car smogged, the technician wouldn't allow it. He said it needed to be stamped on the header. I just ended up putting my stock header back on, and then getting it smogged.

Ohhhhhhhhhh
Something to ponder.

I really want a SS header though, rather than the ceramic of the DC.

Thanks guys.

Now the only thing I run into is I can't even find a 4-2-1 1 piece or 2 piece SS DC SPORTS header for a 98 LS/RS/GS

Its like they dont make them.

Hey, I think you missed it. DC Sports does make a 4-2-1 Stainless Steel header for the 98 ls/rs/gs.

Here's the link. Just go to the bottom under
Acura 4-2-1 Headers Stainless Steel.

4-2-1 SS Headers By DC Sports

The Part Number is: AHS6006

Hope this helps.

Btw, DC Sports doesn't make the 4-2-1 SS header in a 1 piece for your car.

I got my Greddy 4-2-1 headers for only $275 brand new.
from Bozz Performance. Had to pay cash though.

Where are they located in the bay area?
I am really looking at the Comptech (so long as they too have the CARB # stamped), otherwise its DC SS for me... i dont wanna deal with smog issues (in 2 years)

EIther way, wheres bozz?
