Default windshield wiper repainting

Well I took off my front wipers and repainted the semi-flat black because they were turning to bare metal, but I couldnt get the rear wiper loose.
I got the flip up cap off and the nut underneath but couldnt pull it off the bolt
Am i missing something or is my wiper arm just seized up?
Thanks

Nope that should be it, try tapping it lightly with a hammer or block of wood and that should pop it loose, if not then a small torch may be in your future, cant imagine it being stuck that badly though, I did mine a month or two ago and had no problems and mine is a 92 with a gazillion miles on it.

You have to loosen it up from the inside, you have to remove the panel from the hatch or do it the way I painted mine, I put newspaper under the rear arm covering the rear glass as well as the hatch took off the wiper insert and painted it while it was on the car very easy and it beats taking the panel off from the inside.

Pur some painter's plastic underneath. It should fare better than newspaper.
