Default Getting My Type-R!!!

Hey all...Finally found and secured the deal for a 2000 Yellow Type-R But now i have to sell the GSR Was wanting some feedback from everyone on what intake, headers, exhaust to get. I'm wanting to keep the car clean and wanting to add as much power while keeping the install at least somewhat simple and not too drastic. Was also wanting some feedback on some suspension set ups to get it lowered without losing the awesome handling. Thanks all, i look forward to joining the Type-R community

I wouldn't be sad about selling the GS-R.
Good luck, if you total it, you get banned.

If you have plans on tracking the ITR then leave it stock except for pads and fluid. Untill you have a good feel for what you want to change.

I found out after my first few track events that I did not want to change the suspension untill I could out drive it. and many events later I still have the stock setup, I only added Z10 traction bars to prevent wheel hop.

Good luck.

Basically my plans for the car is a drag setup...but i want a lower profile without losing the awesome handling for the street. AutoX could be a future possibility, but not until i really get used to and learn the car. But yes wheel hop is def gonna be a issue so anyone with good treatments for this are welcome to leave one :goodjob:

Dragstrip??? WTF!!! That is NOT what a Type R is for. You should let someone who will use it for what it was made for have it. Don't waste it when someone else can have fun with it on the track. I hate seeing this shyt!!

Sell it to me. I'll use it for what it was made for. I've been trying to find one. I live in Maryland too.

like i said though...i'm not doing anything radical, basically the strip is to hold me over until i get used to the car, and the money to be constantly going to the track. Future plans are tracking it...but there is always time for the strip as well.
