cel 67 came on today
well i installed a jdm header and brand new carsound cat 4 days ago and had it dynotuned right after. well today as i was drivin the check engine light cam on..cell 67. i know my cat isnt defected since its brand new and tuned. would it be cause im obd2? how common is that.would a simulator be what i need to solve this? i have a 99 gsr with bolt ons..thanks

This is a pretty common fault code for OBD2 tuners who upgrade the catalytic converter. The cat is most likely functioning fine seeing that it's new. The chances of getting a defective converter are slim. Your Carsound cat was most likely modified with flanges so I don't see how you could return it. Did you try and reset the ECU and see if the code returns?
Yeah an O2 sim may be your best bet. click here Just run a search for o2 simulators on that site. I'm uprading my exhaust system as well and I hope to excape this code 67. It has haunted me in the past. I even wanted to convert to OBD1 but couldn't find a way to get past the immobilizer.

That is probably the best advice you will get. OBD2 hates you and I. Unless you fool the ECU, you will continue to see it spew codes at you.
