Painting the sideskirts was out of the question for a few reasons.

1. Painting sideskirts requires a different painting technique due to their plastic construction (flexible primers/basecoats are needed) resulting in an impractical price (100-150 that i didnt feel like spending)
2. My stock skirts were scratched up pretty badly from my "crash".
3. To cover up and conceal the "crash" damage, I sanded them down, and painted them flat black.
4. When I got my ITR lip (couple months after i painted the stock sideskirts), it was pretty scratched up, since the previous owner got into an accident with his ITR. (On a side note, he replaced his front end with a JDM conversion complete with factory HID's. ) His ITR was Flamenco Black Pearl, so the lip was the same color. Because the scratches and damage, I thought it was best to paint the lip the same shade of flat black as my sideskirts.
5. All the money I spend on my car is last resort money, meaning I only spend money on my car unless its completely necessary, or if its a deal I cannot pass up.

Hows that for an explanation?

As far as pics being posted, I'll see what I can do.
