I don't know what year it is but this may help:
There are 4 screws that need to be removed. There are two near the passenger and drivers side, one next to the seat in the rear and one in front. Then the tray thing under the ebrake has a panel you can pull off with a screwdriver. Remove the 10mm screw/bolt in there and the back part of the console should come off. Then remove the front part but be gentle. You should see the screws holding the shift boot on. Remove those and replace the boot. Install in reverse order.
