Default supercharger....

sup people...aight my cousins friend is sellin his jackson supercharger for 1200 with labor...is it worth the money to put it into my GS right now...or should i wait til i put in a GSR engine....im plannin to put in the motor within the next yr or less.....so i was wonderin if i should wait til the motor is in or should i just put it with the motor i have now....

if he has the same motor as you and you have the money, id say go for it. if you have a B18B1 id say just keep it and SC the hell out of it and spend some money on internals.

First of all, the JRSC is not interchangeable between LS/GSR/ITR motors. The 3 of those heads are different, so they have individual superchargers for each. So if your cousins friend had a GSR, it won't fit your LS. That being said, the JRSC on the LS doesn't make much power. I'm not impressed from the dyno sheets and timeslips that I've seen over the years.

yeah it might not even give you gains as much as just swapping a gsr motor into it

my cousins buddy has a gs too but i dont know if i want to do it....sc on a GS....thinkin about it....i think a gsr motor swap will do it for me..... then i go from there.....what can i say? i love vtec....

Why not bolt on the SC until you get the GSR engine? That price is pretty tempting.
