Default What regualar maintenance should I do?

I've got 85K on my 1996 Integra, and I'm wondering what kind of scheduled maintenance I should do.. I do my tires, oil, etc.. But, when do I really need to do the timing belt, or tranny fluid or anything else?
Thanks,
Grant

Timing belt and water pump at 90k, do not skip it or do it late. A snapped timing belt will ring up a big bill either replacing the head, or the entire engine. I would also do a valve adjustment and tranny fluid...I usually do them every 30k, sometimes sooner on the valves if they are ticking. Inspect the brakes, replace if necessary.

maybe even the spark plugs, cap and rotor, and plug wires. air filter and fuel filter also. check CV boots for any signs of detereoration along with the tie-rod ends.

To be ultra-conservative, you could do the timing belt now. In fact, I'd recommend it. When I replaced mine in '02, I remember reading that Honda recommends replacing the timing belt every eight years, or every 90K miles, whichever comes first.

As Brett said above, all the Integra motors are an "interference" design. This means if the belt snaps with the motor running, pistons and valves will collide -- which equals big-time headache.

And along with the timing belt, I recommend replacing both the timing belt tensioner and the water pump.
