Default Help changing ITR transmission fluid !!

hey everyone
is it in any way bad to change my MTF early
my car just hit 22k and im thinking about changing my MTF along with my scheduled oil/filter change
i know im paranoid and i probably wont have to change the MTF for a while, but new is always better
since i have time why not right??
now my question also is that is it better to go synthetic or should i run up to the honda dealership and grab Honda MTF??? probably OEM is better overall
and i've been using k&n oil filters all this time but a friend of mine recommended using the green Honda oil filters
anyone with any personal experience with the Hamps/Honda OEM oil filters?
only free day is tomorrow cause got work sat/sun so please reply soon
thanks in advance everyone

Changing your MTF is only a good thing and should be done frequently.
Many people I know with ITRs use the Honda MTF without any problems and there are some that use it and have problems. If your not having problems with the internals then continue to use the Honda MTF.
I change my MTF every three motor oil change, about 12000-15000 miles. I also have problems with my tranny...

Nope.

For most of us, there is probably no point in using anything other than Honda OEM MTF.

My own DC2 ITR is heavily tracked, and has 88,000 miles on it w/no transmission problems. Always used Honda MTF.

oem is always good cause you know when they did the tests the did them on cars like yours, so theres less of a chance that it wont work well

oem> most

It will level itself off. Fill it with like 2.5 quarts and then let it drip out the top filler hole. It is never bad to change fluids.
