SRS light on

Default SRS light on

i was just driveing one day and i did not do any thing i just parked and when i started up my car the srs light was on. any ideas why it's on i've checked the fuses put a jumper in the yellow srs wire to take off the light but its still on. so i just boughta jdm cluster with no srs on it. but still you want the bags to come out when you crash.

I had a similar experience with my car but lucky for me it was still under warranty when it happened. The dealer replaced the whole system and so far I havent had any problems. Take the car to the dealer and let them do a dionostic test for you to see what is exactly wrong. What year is your car because if its an 01 then it is still under warranty if it has less than 50,000 miles.

You must have the right cluster in it its circuit runs through it.

over time, the chemical that produces the reaction to deploy the airbags will weaken. the system constantly checks the strength of the chemical. i would definitely get the system checked out.
