Default guages answer

on my car(2000 gsr)..... there are two screws on the top as you look in... tilt your steering wheel all the way down....then just pull it out....after that there should be about 3-4 more screws holding your gauges in. it should pull right out and there are wires that just plug into back.. the lights u turn and pull out. mine were already blue on mine.

Yeah, I was going to do blue, but the blue just appears white. I replaced with red instead, but it's not that great. now it doesn't match the rest of my center dash console, although I could replace those too. I'd just stick with the white/blue.

my friend and i both did this (not with integras but it doesn't really matter) and his turned out WAY better 'cause he used 194 Blue LEDs instead of what i used (194 blue incandescent). The ones i chose seem more teal (when lit) but the LEDs are like bright blue.

I'm trying to do this on my 92 integra GS
not just to my guages but anything that lights up on the inside...
im running into a hell of a lot of problems here...
first i found out that red bulbs werent avialable, so i tried to paint them instead with heat resistant glass stain... but it wouldnt stick to the bulbs!
then i tried to paint the casing instead (i tried it first on my rear defrost button just to test it out and see if it would work) and the paint mixed with the glue and ruined the symbol!
i had to go buy another button for 15$!

so now my dash is all apart and ive got nothing to show for it yet...
any suggestions?
