Don't be afraid of the eBay link... this seller is selling parts for Acura of Escondido. I have purchased many OEM parts from him (fogs, keyless entry/alarm, and other misc parts),

how much was installation for those of you with these and installed by the dealership? im also interested in the oem fogs and found those from ebay from acura of escondido, but i called my local dealership and they told me it would cost around $300 to install (cuz of the 'involved' process to wire everything up). $500 for fog lights!! maybe one day.

the toughest part of the install was removing the front bumper/nose. The wiring is all plug-n-play. No striping, no soldering. It took quite a few hours to do it, but the install instructions are very good. If you have any mechanical ability at all and a friend to help you don't need to pay for the install.

in some of the other threads, u guys also mentioned ripping open the steering column...would this be for hooking up the switch there, or would it be easier to get the jdm switch that goes behind the steering wheel underneath the intstrument panel, or a switch that goes on the armrest/emergency brake panel... or does the kit provide a switch that is the best location for it?
i have seen a switch that sits on the panel of the armrest/emergency brake before, wasnt sure if thats the oem piece and comes with the kit.
also, by installing it yourself, are you able to turn the fogs on without the headlights (just for info)? i heard somewhere that if its dealer installed, they actually somehow wire it so that the only way they can be on is if the headlights are on (as well they turn off when high beams are on).
