Default Squeeky rear end

I've got this rubbery sounding squeek coming from the hatch compartment and I can't nail down where it's coming from. I even had my girlfriend ride in the trunk to try and track it down. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what might it be?

over time those rubber stoppers on the underside of that hatch will compress. their "height" can be adjusted by turned it counter-clockwise.

if that doesn't work, try greasing the d-hook that locks into the hatch release mechanism.

Totally, try that, and also try wrapping the latch on the hatch with some electrical tape so it closes tighter.

The rubbery balloon chewing sound could be bushings from a camber kit if you have it or bushings in general (usually aftermarket), you can lube those no problem. Try what the others said for the hatch, if it is still there...checked for screws on hose clamps that may be rubbing against something metal under the hood. I had that noise for a while and I could not track it down for shit. I thought it was coming from anywhere in the car as I could not pinpoint it. Finally i found it on accident and just turned the screw, problem solved.
