Default Mechanical or Electrical Gauges?

Im looking to buy a boost gauge. im not sure if i should buy a mechanical or electrical? whats the difference?thanks.

Mechanical sends the air directly to the gauge whereas the electric has some sort of sending device. The mechanical ones are cheaper and more accurate, but if the thought of air and/or hot oil coming into the passenger compartment scares you, go for the electrical. Personally, I am a cheap ass, so I went with mechanical gauges.
