Default Shift Point

On my gsr, where would the most efficient shift spot be, 8100? and if so, do i switch there every gear... im talkin about in racing terms...

i usually shift right when the needle hits 8

im guessing that it all depends on your car and what mods you have done...I'm sure its somewhere near 8000rpm

You can never tell 100% with a stock tach though... those things can easily be off a hundered RPM or more by the time you hit redline

The best shift is one where you shift at peak hp, and the needle lands at peak torque in the next gear. A dyno will tell you...or you can look at dynos of stock/bolt on'd GSR's to get an idea.
