Default help! jdm b18c swap no spark

i just swapped a obd1 b18c 5 speed into my 95 rs auto. i used my original engine harness and wired vtec, knock sensor, and aib to ecu. i have switched out the coil and icm from my b18b. i have 9 volts coming from yel/grn signal wire to icm and i have 12 volts at the 3 other connections on the icm. there is also 12 volts to coil. i still have no spark. is there some differnce in the jdm motor or am i missing something else? the engine turns over fine, the plugs are wet with fuel. no spark
please help

CHECK ALL GROUNDS!!!! Does it turn over for a sec and then just shut off? Im thinking its a ground man. Grounds is the answer to all lifes swaps!!

it turns over fine. i can't remember if i hooked up the ground on the tranny, though. also it wouldn't have anything to do with jdm motor not having an ELD?

Are you using a USDM or JDM ECU? The USDM ECU would look for an ELD, but I don't know if that would cause it to not start...probably just throw a CEL. Definitely check and recheck all of your grounds. Did you do anything else before the swap maintenance wise...like a timing belt?

does the ecu send a signal to the icm, or does it open and close a ground to make the coil fire?
