I am installing a boost guage at the moment and need a place to get through the firewall close to where I sit. I only have 6 feet of tubing, so I need to make it through relatively close to the pedals. I don't really want to drill but if I have to, I need to know a good place to drill without encountering subframe or wires. I went underneath and couldn't see anything and I pulled the carpet back and looked where my feet go, but no luck. Is there somewhere I am missing?
I'm guessin it's getting dark there so... is light as issue?
If not then maybe you could try getting through near the pedal holes.... that is purely speculation though, and I can't say for sure.

there's a grommet on the firewall you can go through. Look on the firewall in line with the harness connectors on the driver's side. It's black...punch a hole through it and route your tubing..good to go.

Look for a grommet that has wires going through it. You should be able to just make a slit in it to widen it up. Don't cut the existing wires though. Then pass it through.
driver side of firewall a black rubber grommet, just take a flat head screw driver and poke it threw a couple timeson the edge there is about an inch of wires right in the middle so just go to either side and poke right threw it, thats how i run all wires when i do car audio or alarm stuff, im a 12v tech. this what i do.. u wont have any problems... plus when the wires get threw the rubber will squeeze ur wires and its pretty damn water proof, when u have the hole poked take the wires and bend them over the head of the flat head and take it with electrical tape and poke it threw and go under ur dash and ull see it poken threw behind the fuse box and just grab it and pull em threw.... long flat head will work the best so u dont fight the tape on the screw driver should just slide off.
I said it first. Suckas.

OK. Thanks for the suggestions. I will try to do it now. But do you think the hole is big enough to fit the vacuum hose and oil hose through? (Yes, I am an idiot and bought a mechanical oil pressure gauge.)

OK. I found what you guys are talking about. So, do I have to drill through the firewall above or below the loom of wires or can I poke it through the loom somehow without drilling?
I just punched through it with something sharp. You'll have plenty of room..I fit a 4an steel braided nitrous line through it no problem.
