i was talking about the fog lights that are acutally in the housing of the light im sorry i confused you... but normally what do people do... wire them in to the parking light switch or do they actually wire them in to a switch???

you should get the JDM foglight switch. i wouldnt wire them to anything else but the switch. the switch you can get for about 50 or less. i am talking about JDM headlights with the foglights built in the headlights

PasswordJDM or IPS Racing.

You can also rig the USDM GS-R cruise control switch to perform the same function.

thanks guys i think i might go to a junk yard and pick up the GS-R switch b/c i kinda need it b/c there getting my front end today and it should be done very soon... i will post pics of the install when it is all said and done... thanks

The Fog Light Switch is pretty cool. It goes in on the opposite side of the tachometer switch (the one that changes how bright your tach shows).

I'll probably be picking one up for my car.

i live in NZ, where 99% of our ITRs are JDM.
they all have foglights as part of the headlight. but i have never seen OEM foglights that are seperate to the main lights on JDM front cars..

the factory location of the switch is under the dash, on the right hand side of the steering column.

a hood latch cable from a '90~93 Integra is required right? does anyone know if the 4 door or 2 door cable makes a difference? which one do i need?

im not exactly sure but i got a 2 door cable from the junk yard it was only 10$ so if it doesnt work then i guess i will have to go back and get the 4 door cable... hopefully it will... be sure to post pics when your done the conversion... i cant wait til mines finished

yeah, i can't wait til mine is finished as well. I've decided on getting the HID one, after driving behind my friend's Golf GTI with HID, and then in front of it, seeing it in my mirror, and then inside it for some after smoke-out munchies. I gotta get some HID!
