I just sold my LS tranny and bought a Y21 B16A tranny with a Kaaz LSD. Has anyone else swapped out there LS tranny for a different tranny. If you have can you tell that its a lower geared and for those of you who drag race how much did it help you 1/4 mile times. Thanks J

 

yeah i had a 90 integra ls and put a b16 tranny on it, its a direct bolt on except for the clutch disc i had to change that, but other thn that it goes in just fine direct bolt on bid diff.

you will deffently noticed the difference between a b16 tranny and LS tranny

 

i put a gsr hydro tranny on my b18b. you can definately tell its closer geared. im in 5th gear by 45mph. 4200 rpm @80mph on the highway is annoying, but ill take it. i think the setup is very good overall
